Andrea J. Damon
Andrea J. Damon is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor located in Southeast Massachusetts. She is currently an Adult Outpatient Clinical Supervisor and Internship Program Coordinator for Community Counseling of Bristol County (CCBC). As a supervisor, Andrea provides regular individual and group supervision to staff and interns. She is part of an inter-department triage team which evaluates crisis situations and helps to facilitate risk management, and regularly reviews and helps to maintain the integrity of clinical documentation. Andrea has developed several templates for her agency’s clinical use and created a “Clinical Library” which all staff have access to whether on-site or remote. As the Internship Program Coordinator, Andrea has worked with both master’s and doctoral level students and is responsible for the set-up logistics between CCBC programs and university practicum/internship requirements. Her primary roles include acclimating, training, supervising, and overseeing the educational process of clinical interns and transitioning clinicians new to the agency at post-graduate status.
Andrea is also a private practice owner in Lakeville, MA where she continues to serve adults, older adolescents, and couples on a part-time basis. She earned her undergraduate degree at St. Thomas University in Florida, Master’s degree at the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, and post-grad coursework at Boston University. Andrea’s clinical experience also includes home-based therapy for children with pervasive developmental disorders, co-facilitation of groups at an adult day treatment program, and on-site therapy at a university counseling center. Andrea feels truly fortunate for these opportunities and is pleased to be a Clinical Advisory Committee Member of Path to Healing, Inc.
Dawn Browne is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with 15 years experience. She holds a BA in Psychology, BSW and MSW degrees from McGill University in Montreal Canada. Dawn has worked for a decade providing therapy to adults in an outpatient clinical setting. In her practice, Dawn is committed to providing culturally competent care, and serving at risk, underserved persons and communities. Dawn specializes in the treatment of trauma, anxiety, substance abuse, depression, anger, mood disorders as well as assisting with the navigation and coping with life’s transitions. Dawn’s treatment approach is one that is person centered, collaborative, insight oriented and strength-based. Dawn is bilingual and conducts therapy in English or French.
Licensed Mental Health Counselor Jeff Lima has been practicing since 1993. He has extensive experience in individual, group and family therapies, working with adults, children and adolescents. He specializes in mood disorders, anxiety issues, grief and loss, anger management and change of life concerns, among other areas. Jeff favors a relationship based approach, working with his clients at their pace to address issues in a safe, nurturing environment.
